Slovak President Peter Pellegrini said he refuses to go on an official visit to Kyiv.

This is due to the fact that Ukraine has stopped the transit of Russian gas , which Slovakia received. Pellegrini said that under the current circumstances, his trip to Ukraine is “not an option” at the moment.
“If I have to go there just to take a photo, and they tell me that not a single drop of oil or gas will go to Slovakia, then I really shouldn't go there. Let no one blame me “is offended”, – he explained.
The President of Slovakia added that he does not accept the situation when the Ukrainian government and the president decided to cut off gas supplies, refuse its transit to Slovakia, thus fundamentally threatening the energy security of Slovakia.
