Seven years after the end of the cult Netflix series, Daredevil is returning in a new format under the wing of Marvel Studios. Disney+ has released the first two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again, which is now an official part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

URA-Inform reports this, citing ITC.ua.

1. Return of beloved heroes

One of the highlights of the new series is the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer who leads a double life as a crime fighter. He is joined by Vincent D'Onofrio as the Kingpin, a powerful crime boss now linked to New York's political elite.

2. Plot line: Confrontation is inevitable

Born Again revolves around Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk trying to move on from their past. However, their old selves inevitably resurface, pushing them into another showdown. As the official synopsis puts it, “When their past identities begin to surface, the two find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”

3. Audience and critics' ratings

The series premiere received rave reviews from viewers, with a user rating of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, with some reviewers calling the show a “masterpiece” and “the perfect adaptation of the MCU.” Critics, meanwhile, gave the series an 83% rating, lower than the first seasons from Netflix but higher than many of Marvel's recent projects.

The return of the iconic hero promises to be an important milestone for Marvel. Will the series be able to maintain the momentum and meet the expectations of viewers – the next episodes will show.
