British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will arrive in Poland today, Tuesday, April 23, where he will announce the largest package of military assistance to Ukraine worth 500 million pounds.

It is noted that during the visit, Rishi Sunak will meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk to discuss deepening British-Polish relations. Officials will also hold talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Warsaw on European security and support for Ukraine.
«Ukraine faces an existential threat as Russia continues its barbaric invasion, risking its security and the stability of all of Europe», — the British government's press service said in a statement.
The Prime Minister will then travel to Germany to meet with Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
«Additional funding of £500 million announced today – taking us to £3 billion of UK military aid for Ukraine in this financial year — will be used to quickly deliver the necessary ammunition, air defense equipment, drones and engineering support», — noted in the UK government.
