The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, remains calm before the news of his «death», confident that this prophesies a long life for him.

Answering questions from journalists about the reaction to numerous fakes about his death, he shared his philosophy:
«Yesterday I was informed that I allegedly was killed somewhere near the Kharkov region. How should I react to this? My grandmother said: ‘If they constantly say that someone has died, it means that this person will live a long time’. And I believe in it. So, apparently, I still have a lot of time»
Budanov admitted that intelligence officers are prohibited from using social networks, however, he has access to all the world's resources:
«As a leader, I have access to all the world's media and resources. I look through them to assess the results of our operations or high-profile events that may have an impact on us.
