«We understand that the absence of a drone attack — it is also a response, in a certain way, to weather conditions too. However, the enemy continues the artillery shelling and at night again reminded both the Kherson residents and the residents of Antonovka», — Gumenyuk said.
According to the official, the enemy’s priority will continue to be carpet strikes or selective projectiles on residential areas and social infrastructure.
At the same time, the Russian occupiers have reduced enemy tactical aviation activity. Gumenyuk explains that this is also a consequence of the weather and the combat work of the Defense Forces. However, in the operational zone OK «South» the occupiers from time to time return to the use of aviation.
«The other day the enemy tried to repeat the bombing of the right bank with guided bombs, and unguided missiles on the left bank , since the assault operations were not successful at all, and they were losing both people and equipment there, they tried to put pressure on them with aviation», — she said.
