According to Bild, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have captured another strategic point on the map of the Ukrainian state.
This information was reported by the above-mentioned publication, reports URA-Inform.
It is noted that the village of Stepovoye, located northwest of Avdeevka, was recently captured. Information provided by military expert Julian Röpke indicates that Russian troops managed to strengthen their positions in this location.

«Ukrainian strike raids that previously reached the western part of Stepovoye , are now carried out from the eastern part of Berdychi. The Russian military has either strengthened its position at the western end of Stepovoy, or is using trenches already built but abandoned by Ukrainian troops», — notes Röpke.
Russian information resources also report about the capture of Stepovoy. This is one of the three areas where the Ukrainian Armed Forces maintain a defensive position after losing control of Avdiivka.
