German Chancellor Olaf Scholz noted that Germany will continue to make its efforts to support Ukraine in the war against Russian aggressors and called on other countries to do the same.

«The war in Ukraine will end the moment Putin decides to withdraw his troops. However, he will make this decision only when he realizes that he cannot win the war on the battlefield», — Scholz said.
He said that Germany had allocated 28 billion euros in military support to Kyiv by this time. Olaf Scholz also noted that Western support for Ukraine is «the key to restoring peace» in Europe.
«We will support it as long as necessary», — emphasized the head of the German government.
