PFU reported that by the beginning of 2024 the minimum wage should increase to 7,100 hryvnia, and the cost of living will also increase. Accordingly, pension payments will increase.
However, there are categories of pensioners who will receive an increase from January 1, 2024, others – later.
It is reported that from January 1, the minimum pension will increase from 2,093 to 2,361 hryvnia. Payments will also be increased to pensioners who have completed full service and have reached 65 years of age. This category of pensioners will receive a minimum of 2,840 hryvnia.
The main recalculation of pensions is planned in March. However, the timeliness of indexation will be influenced by external circumstances, in particular the situation at the front and the timeliness of the receipt of international financial assistance.
