The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has put Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the wanted list, the relevant information has appeared in the Russian search database.

This information was reported by Meduza, URA-Inform reports.

Allegedly, the basis for this is the criminal case initiated against Zelensky in Russia. The previous Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko, is also on the Russian department's wanted list.

In response to this, the press secretary of the Ukrainian president, Sergei Nikiforov, advised the Russians to “first look for conscience and common sense.”

In in turn, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called this step of the Russian Federation “evidence of despair.”

“Russian reports about the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs allegedly putting the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on the wanted list is evidence of the desperation of the Russian state machine and propaganda, which do not know what other news reason to come up with to attract attention,” — the Ukrainian department emphasized.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry recalled to the Kremlin an arrest warrant for dictator Vladimir Putin, which is “quite real.”

“…Unlike the paltry Russian announcements, the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on suspicion of committing war crimes is quite real and enforceable in 123 countries of the world,” — noted the ministry.

We recall that it was previously reported that Germany threatened the Russian Federation with “serious consequences”: which outraged Berlin.
