<p>Deputy Head of the Department of Preventive Activities of the National Police Anatoly Seredinsky said on the telethon that law enforcement officers will detain curfew violators on New Year's Eve. They will be taken to police stations. They can also arrange a meeting with the TCC, reports RBC-Ukraine. </p>
<p>Seredinsky explained that the curfew in Ukraine will not be lifted, and the police will strengthen security measures throughout the country. In particular, the events will concern the mass presence of citizens in public places.</p>
<p>He added that about 30 thousand police officers will ensure order for the New Year in Ukraine. </p>
<p>Curfew violators will be taken to police stations “to establish what happened in the life of each citizen who deliberately left in violation of the curfew. Our recruitment centers are also very interested in these people.”</p>
<p >In early December, the Kiev City Military Administration announced that there would be no mass measures in Kiev for the New Year, and a curfew would be in effect at night. <b>The curfew for the winter holidays in Kyiv will operate as usual – from 00:00 to 05:00</b>.</p>
<p>On December 9, the Verkhovna Rada supported the bill on fines for violating the curfew . For individuals, the fine will range from 8,500 to 17,000 hryvnia. If there is a repeated violation within a year, the fine will be twice as large.</p>
<p>For business, the punishment is more severe. For violation, the entrepreneur will have to pay from three thousand to six thousand rubles. This is from 51,000 to 102,000 hryvnia. In case of repeated violation, the fine will double.</p>
