In the Avdeevsky direction, Ukrainian fighters repulsed 30 attacks of the invaders, in Limansky - 24, - General Staff <>In the Avdeevsky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks by Russians near Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoy, Avdeevka and another 15 attacks near Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye, Donetsk region. Here the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation.</p> <p> This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.</p> <p>During the day, 85 military clashes took place at the front. In total, the enemy launched two missile and 13 air strikes, and carried out 32 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. </p> <p>Aviation of the Defense Forces attacked the area where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. Also, Ukrainian air defense forces and means destroyed one X-59 guided aircraft missile. Subunits of the missile forces struck the area where the occupiers' personnel, control center and ammunition were concentrated. The situation at the front as of 18.00 on January 16 is as follows:</p> <ul> <li>in the <b>Volyn</b> and <b>Polessk</b> directions the operational situation is without significant changes;</li> <li>on <b>Seversky</b> and <b>Slobozhansky</b>About 20 settlements were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Gremyachka, Mikhalchina-Sloboda, Chernigov region; Sosnovka, Atinskoye, Volfino, Stepok, Sumy region; Udy, Volchansk, Okhrimovka, Zemlyanka, Kharkov region;</li> <li>in <b>Kupyansky</b> the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. He fired artillery and mortars at about 10 settlements, these are, in particular, Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Ivanovka, Berestovo in the Kharkov region;</li> <li>on <b>Limansky</b>our defenders repulsed 9 attacks by the invaders in the areas of Ternov, Yampolevka, Torskoye, Donetsk region, and another 15 attacks near Makeevka, Belogorivka, Luhansk region and north of Grigorovka, Vesely, Donetsk region. About 15 settlements were damaged by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Belogorovka in the Luhansk region and Torskoye, Grigorovka, Serebryanka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Spornoye, Razdolevka in the Donetsk region;</li> <li>on <b>Bakhmutsky</b>The defense forces repelled 6 enemy attacks in the Ivanovsky, Kleshchievka and Andreevka areas of the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Ivanovskoe, Klishchievka, Andreevka, and New York in the Donetsk region. </li> <li>On <b>Avdeevskoye</b> about 15 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks, including Keramik, Berdichi, Stepnoye, Lastochkino, Nevelskoye in the Donetsk region;</li> <li>on <b >Marinsky</b>Defense forces continue to contain the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk region. In this direction, the invaders, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried 16 times to break through the defenses of our troops. In addition, the enemy launched an air strike near the village of Konstantinovka, Donetsk region. Krasnogorovka, Georgievka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka, Konstantinovka, Ekaterinivka were under artillery and mortar fire from the invaders;</li> <li>at <b>Shakhterskoye</b>the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. Conducted an air strike in the Vodyanoye area of ​​the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, in particular, Vodyanoye, Prechistovka, Blagodatnoye, Staromayorskoye, Urozhaynoye, Donetsk region;</li> <li>in <b>Zaporozhye</b> our defenders repulsed an enemy attack west of Verbovoye, Zaporozhye region where the enemy tried unsuccessfully to restore the lost position. About 25 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Poltavka, Malinovka, Krasnoe, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Novodanilovka in the Zaporozhye region;</li> <li>in the area of ​​responsibility of the OVSU “Odessa” in <b>Kherson</b> The regional center of the Kherson region and the areas of the settlements of Antonovka, Dneprovskoe, Tyaginka of the Kherson region were subjected to enemy artillery shelling;</li> <li>the enemy does not abandon the intention to knock out Ukrainian units from the bridgeheads on the <b>left bank of the Dnieper</b>.
