The Lithuanian minister noted that while there is not a lot of Russian grain in transit through Lithuania, most of it is transported through Latvia. Accordingly, this supply will be destroyed during negotiations with the Minister of Transport of Latvia and the Minister of Climate of Estonia.
“We have a very specific supply – the transportation of Russian grain through the Baltic countries. In Lithuania And this is not a big problem, the obligations are even small , but there is still a big problem in Latvia,” said Skuodis.
The head of the Lithuanian Grain Growers Association, Aušris Maciauskas, said that Russian grain has a great obligation to transit through Latvia, and part of the grain is consumed before Lithuania .
