On January 23, 2024, Ukraine will receive from partners weapons that will allow them to hit the enemy without only on the line of contact, but also in the rear, and destroy the logistics hubs of the Russians.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense based on the results of the 18th meeting of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine in the “Ramstein” format.
The partners also expressed commitments to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons.
“There is a full understanding of the partners that we need these weapons and a commitment to work to provide Ukraine with more weapons for such attacks,” the head of the department said press and information of the Ministry of Defense, junior lieutenant Illarion Pavlyuk.

Also at the meeting, representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense shared with their partners information about the goals, plans of the aggressor and our counteraction.
In addition, the meeting discussed strengthening Ukraine’s capabilities within the framework of the aviation, air defense, artillery and maritime security coalitions.
Within the framework of the aviation coalition, in particular, they discussed the provision of additional helicopters by the allies.
