“An exhibition of photographs of the deceased Hero Denis Krivoy “The Fight for Your Landscape” will take place in Kyiv

Denis died in May 2023 near Bakhmut, saving his wounded brothers.

Denis Krivoy was engaged in landscape and reportage photography, mastered animal photography and aerial photography. His works were published in National Geographic.

Denis died in May 2023 near Bakhmut, saving his wounded brothers.

The opening of the exhibition is February 7 at 18:00 in the Kiev space PEN Ukraine (st. ..Lukyanovskaya, 14a). The exhibition will feature works from the series “Beauty of Buzhsky Gard” and “Kyiv Bridges”.

“Beauty of Buzhsky Gard”dedicated to a national park near the village of Migiya, Nikolaev region, which was one of Denis Krivoy’s favorite places. There he formed as a photographer and grew as a person.

“Kyiv Bridges” – a small series of photographs that capture the beauty of the Southern and Darnitsky bridges.

Event will be moderated by writer and cultural researcher Sasha Dovzhik. Denis Krivoy's wife Galina Volgina, director of the Bugsky Garden national park Vladislav Artamonov (online), PEN Ukraine president Vladimir Ermolenko and photographer Alexander Nesterovsky will take part in the opening of the exhibition.

The exhibition is held with the support of the SYAO charitable foundation , which was founded by Denis Krivoy’s wife, the Foundation conducts auctions and sales of Denis’s works, and transfers the proceeds to help his division. During the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase photographs, and the proceeds will also go towards fundraising for this unit.

Admission is free with pre-registration.

The works of Denis Krivoy can be seen until April 7 .
