As reported press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov introduced Breuer to the newly appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.
During the meeting, Syrsky informed his German colleague about the situation on the front line and thanked him for Germany’s contribution to strengthening the Ukrainian army.

The parties discussed the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for weapons and ammunition.
Umerov stated that “we are aimed at fruitful cooperation, effective communication and exchange of experience in real time.”
