Zaporozhye scientist, world-famous researcher of Mennonite history Maxim Shtatsky died at the front.

In civilian life, Maxim worked in the Khortitsa National Nature Reserve, and was a well-known researcher of the history of the Mennonites far beyond the borders of Ukraine.
