The majority of Russian assaults were in the Novopavlovsk direction – 17.
In 56 separate motorized infantry days, 52 combat clashes occurred at the front. In total, the enemy launched 32 missile and 47 air strikes, and carried out 48 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 24.
Aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched strikes on 8 areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.
Units of the missile forces defeated 2 enemy air defense systems, 3 artillery weapons and an electronic warfare station.
The situation at the front as of 18.00 is as follows:
- < li >on In the Volyn and Polessk directions the operational situation is without significant changes. No signs of the formation of offensive enemy groups were found;
- at Seversky and SlobozhanskyThe enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Pobeda and Popovka, Sumy region. More than 15 settlements were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Bleshnya, Chernihiv region; Sorokino, Bachevsk, Starikovoe, Volfino, Popovka, Sumy region; Veterinary, Borisovka, Ambarnoye, Strelka, Kharkov region;
- on Kupyanskythe enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Berestovo in the Kharkov region;
- on LimanskyOur fighters repelled 5 enemy attacks in the area of the village of Belogorovka, Lugansk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy carried out air strikes in the Serebryansky forestry areas of the Luhansk region and Ozerny, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were damaged by artillery and mortar shelling, including Makeevka, Belogorivka, Lugansk region and Terny Serebryanka, Spornoye, Donetsk region;
- on Bakhmutskyrepelled 5 enemy attacks in the areas of Bogdanovka, Klishchievka, Andreevka, Donetsk region. The enemy launched an air strike near the village of Zheleznoye, Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular Bogdanovka, Vasyukovka and Chasov Yar in the Donetsk region;
- on Avdeevskyrepelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas of settlements Berdich, east of Umanskoye, Pervomaiskoye, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Ocheretino and Novokalinovo, Donetsk region. About 20 settlements were shelled by artillery and mortars, including Alexandropol, Keramik, Novobakhmutovka, Semenovka in the Donetsk region;
- in NovopavlovskDefense forces continue to contain the enemy in the areas of settlements Krasnohorivka, Georgievka , Novomikhailovka and Urozhaynoe, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 17 times to break through the defenses of our troops. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire from the invaders, including Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Paraskoveevka, Ugledar in the Donetsk region; our defenders in the Robotinoy area of the Zaporozhye region. He also carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Makarovka and Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region; Malinovka, Zaporozhye region. About 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, among them Poltavka, Rovnopol, Volshebnoe, Orekhov, Pyatikhatki in the Zaporozhye region;
- in Kherson the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. The enemy fired multiple launch rocket systems at settlements such as Kazatskoe and Ponyatovka in the Kherson region.
