Austria sees 21.5 million euros from the foreign disaster fund for humanitarian aid in the region From other corners of the world . 2 million euros will be allocated for humanitarian projects in Ukraine.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with a message to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria.
As the press service means, global humanitarian Ethnic crises caused by wars , poverty, migration and progressing climate change, pose a significant threat to the lives of millions of people.
According to the United Nations Organization (UN), approximately 300 million people will immediately require humanitarian assistance.
“Our security in Europe also lies largely in the security and stability of our neighbors. Therefore, we must do everything possible to avoid illegal migration, as well as to avoid unsafe more expensive people to Europe,” said Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer.
21.5 million euros divided into:
- 9.5 million euros, which is expected for projects in African countries on the day before the Sahara;
- 8 million euros for projects at Blizkoe Skhod;
- 2 million euros for projects in Ukraine;
- 2 million euros for projects in Afghanistan and neighboring countries.

In 2023, Ukraine will have an additional 18 million and euros to help Ukrainians who suffered as a result of Russian aggression.
< p>Likewise, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer stated that the country wants to maintain its neutral status with negotiated guarantees for Ukraine.
