<p>Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ukraine, Colonel General Alexander Syrsky said that the top Russian military leadership has set the task for its troops to capture Vremya Yar by May 9.</p>
<p>The Commander-in-Chief stated this on Facebook.</p>
<p>According to the Commander-in-Chief, the enemy is concentrating efforts to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine west of Bakhmut, access the Seversky Donets – Donbass canal, capture the Temporary Yar and create conditions for further advance to the Kramatorsk side.</p>
<p>“Using a numerical advantage and various motivational factors, including executions, separate groups of enemy infantry entered the Novy microdistrict, but were destroyed by FPV kamikaze strikes and artillery fire from the Defense Forces,” Syrsky said. </p>
<p>At the same time, the threat remains relevant, taking into account the fact that the top Russian military leadership has set the task of the Russian army to capture Vremya Yar before May 9. </p>
<p>“In order to adequately respond to enemy actions and strengthen the defense of our troops in this direction, measures were taken to significantly strengthen the brigades with ammunition, drones, and electronic warfare equipment,” said the Commander-in-Chief.</p>
<p>According to him, the main conclusion from his two-day work at the front is the need to improve the quality of training, including the moral and psychological component, increasing the number of high-tech unmanned systems for various purposes with trained operators, improving the quality of asymmetric actions in order to reduce the combat potential of the Russians. /p> </p>
<p>“We continue to carry out organizational activities with an emphasis on increasing management efficiency, eliminating duplication, and directing released resources to support combat units and subunits. The main task of these activities is to increase the combat capability of our troops, preserve the lives of our soldiers, and disrupt the enemy’s plans, ensuring the training of reserves,” Syrsky emphasized.</p>

<li>Over the past week, the enemy has not stopped conducting assault operations in the Donetsk direction. Half of all combat operations take place in the Bakhmut and Novopavlovsk directions. </li>
<li>In just one day on April 14, the Russians carried out 67 attacks in the Avdeevsky, Bakhmutsky and Novopavlovsky directions.</li>
