On instructions from Vladimir Zelensky, the Ukrainian delegation was headed by the head of the OP Andriy Ermak. He said that the recent approval by Congress of $61 billion in aid for Ukraine has significantly accelerated the negotiation process, so the leaders of the two countries will be able to sign a security agreement “in the near future.”
During the third round of negotiations, the parties agreed on the main provisions of the upcoming document and decided on the algorithm for further actions.
Ermak noted that the agreement “will once again confirm US leadership in military and security support for Ukraine and will directly contribute to the approach of victory over the Russian aggressor.”
