President Vladimir Zelensky on his page on the X network reported a telephone conversation with Trump .
According to the head of state, he congratulated the Republican on officially receiving the nomination from the party and condemned the “shocking assassination attempt in Pennsylvania,” wishing the ex-President of the United States strength and absolute security in the future.
Zelensky also emphasized the importance of bipartisan and bicameral support for Ukraine in Congress and thanked for help from the United States.
The politicians agreed on a personal meeting, during which they will “discuss how to make peace just and lasting.”
