The European F-16 training center near Romania trained the first group of pilots. The pilots are from Romania.
RBC-Ukraine reports this through communications to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands.
Romanian pilots have already had their licenses revoked. Before the stench began, various scenarios took place, missions were closed in the dark hour of achievements and trained with pilots of NATO member countries.
A group of Romanian pilots has already begun to advance. This year, the European Training Center will increasingly train Ukrainian pilots.
“I look forward to the moment when the first Ukrainian pilots will be trained here. “Ukraine will already require strengthening of anti-aircraft defense,” said the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Ruben Brekelmans.
As expected, the Netherlands will give Ukraine 24 high-end F-16s.
war coalition
I guess what happened last year An aviation coalition was created, within which the allies would transfer low-cost F-16s to Ukraine. The coalition is opposed by the Netherlands and Denmark.
Previously, the partners stated that the F-16 would appear in the Ukrainian airspace in 2024. There has not yet been any official information about the transfer of the aircraft.
