The Security Service of Ukraine and the National FSB, who tried to burn down one of the administrative buildings of the TCC in the region. This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
SBU counterintelligence officers detained the attacker “hot on the heels” after he threw a Molotov cocktail at the wall of the military registration and enlistment office and filmed the fire on his phone.
According to the investigation, the suspect was a 17-year-old Odessa resident who came to the attention of the FSB this spring due to his search for quick money on the Internet.
On one of these sites, the young man posted his resume, to which a representative of the Russian special service responded. For money, he offered the Odessa resident to set fire to military infrastructure facilities and cars of Ukrainian defenders.
After the “test” tasks in the form of photographing the locations of the Defense Forces in the port city, the occupiers “sent” their henchman to the Vinnytsia region. There, the saboteur was supposed to set fire to the TCC building.
After this task, the saboteur was supposed to continue a series of arson attacks on the territory of Zhitomir. However, the Security Service thwarted the hostile plans.
During the search, a homemade incendiary mixture and a mobile phone were seized from the suspect, which he used to film the crime and communicate with the aggressor.
Based on the evidence collected, the Security Service investigators informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (sabotage committed under martial law).
Currently, the perpetrator is in custody. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Recall that recently the SBU and the National Police detained two people who set fire to military and volunteer cars in the Kyiv region. The perpetrators acted on orders from the Russians.
