Today, as a result of shelling by Russians in the Velikopisarevskaya community of the Sumy region, a woman was killed, the regional prosecutor's office reported.
According to the investigation, at about 14:00, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the enemy fired artillery at civilian infrastructure in the Velikopisarevskaya community of the Akhtyrsky district of the Sumy region.
As a result of the attack by the occupiers, a 59-year-old local resident was fatally wounded in her own home.
Under the procedural leadership of the Akhtyrsky District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder. – Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
