As of September 20, 2024, 979 cases have been opened for “discrediting the Russian army” in temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the press service of the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
“Of these, in 875 cases a decision was made to impose an administrative penalty in the form of a fine or attached to another case under another article and a joint decision was made. In 17 cases, the consideration of the materials is ongoing,” the report says.

Of these, 377 cases (43%) of decisions were made against women, and 497 (57%) against men.
The occupiers are detaining Crimeans for messages and comments on social networks in support of Ukraine, the distribution of Ukrainian songs, Ukrainian state symbols, condemnation of the occupiers, etc.
