In October of this year, 2,023 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones were found at Ukrainian facilities.

As reported by the General Staff, of this number, 1,185 drones were destroyed and neutralized by Ukrainian defenders, 738 units were lost, and another 29 UAVs left the airspace controlled by our state.

In total, since the beginning of 2024, the enemy has launched 6,987 attack UAVs into Ukrainian territory. The enemy drones mainly targeted civilian and critical infrastructure in Ukraine.

“Thanks to the professionalism and skill of the Defense Forces, we managed to save thousands of lives of our people from Russian air terror, protect hundreds of homes of Ukrainian citizens and important state facilities from destruction,” the General Staff emphasized, adding that anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units and mobile fire teams continue to protect the Ukrainian skies around the clock.
