The enemy struck at about 8:31 a.m.
The Russian army struck the central part of Kharkiv, in the Kievsky district, on Monday morning. Emergency services left for the scene, OVA head Oleg Sinegubov reported at 8:36.
According to the city mayor Igor Terekhov, a fire started after the strike. As of 9:26, 15 people were injured, at least nine of whom had to be hospitalized.
“The strike was in the central part of the city, in a densely populated area. It landed in courtyards surrounded by multi-story buildings and cars,” the mayor reported.
The fire started on one of the central streets of the city, the OVA head specified.
According to updated information, three cars and the facade of a two-story non-residential building were on fire, and the windows in the houses were damaged.
