Russian miners are digging mines in the occupied Bakhmut, Donetsk region for military purposes. Warehouses and hospitals will be built there.
RBC-Ukraine reports about this with a message to Nazar Voloshin, a riverman of the Operational-Strategic Grouped Army “Khortytsia”, in a telethon broadcast.
In his words, Bakhmut This is the first point for the immediate deployment of the 98th Airborne Division and the 3rd Army Corps of the Russian Federation. The place is a logistics hub for the enemy.
“It has become its own logistics hub for the occupiers, and since there are mines, fortified and sheltered, the enemy is placed in them and saves ammunition and equipment, as well as warehouses with oil materials,” said the riverman.
Voloshin added that there is also information that the occupation of the Bakhmut mines was set up by field hospitals to provide medical care to the wounded.
Bakhmut is grown in the Pivnichno-Skhidny part of the Donetsk region. Before the full-scale war, the place was the center of the salt industry of Ukraine and a salivary hub.
Since May 2022, Bakhmut has been an outpost of the defense of Ukraine. By 2023, a generation of Russians had occupied the place, and as a result of the difficult battles, Bakhmut would be left in poverty.
