On Wednesday, January 8, the Defense Forces carried out a high-precision strike on the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the armed forces of the aggressor country, which was located in Khartsyzk, Donetsk region.
This was announced by the General Staff of Ukraine, the NBN publication reports.
The department reported that the invaders used the corresponding building in the city occupied since 2014 to coordinate attacks against defenders and peaceful Ukrainians, in particular residents of Kurakhovo.
Recall that on January 2, a missile flew into the House of Culture in Kursk. The occupiers used the building as a deployment site for fighters of the 810th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces.
The head of the Center for Precision Defense, Andrei Kovalenko, reported that the strike was effective – the invaders suffered losses. A few days later, he announced that another air strike had hit an important military facility in Kursk, posting a video of a “bang” in the city that was distributed online on January 5.
