France and Great Britain supported the idea of requesting Ukraine to NATO. However, the Alliance is still opposed.

Prospects for Ukraine's membership in NATO
Ukraine values membership in NATO as the greatest guarantee of security, and members of the Alliance, such as Ugorshchyna, are against their entry.
