Since the Russians are constantly shelling the city, the main Christmas tree will be installed in the metro from 2022 for security reasons.
Christmas tree, Kharkiv
For the first time since the beginning of the full-scale war, Kharkiv was festively decorated for Christmas and New Year.
This was reported by the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov.
He published a video and noted that these holiday lights and decorations are a symbol of invincibility, love for our hometown, faith in victory and gratitude to the heroic feat of our military.
“I believe that next year a just peace will come to Ukraine. And with it – the restoration, in which each of us plays an important role,” Terekhov noted.
