177 Crimean political prisoners are serving their sentences in Russian colonies, of which 108 are representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people.

In addition, 371 political prisoners and people prosecuted for criminal cases during the occupation of Crimea were recorded. Of these, 229 are representatives of the Crimean Tatar people.
