Starting this week, testing of meals on some of the longest routes begins:
- №351/352 Kyiv — Chisinau
- №95/96 Kyiv — Rakhov
- №29/30 Kyiv — Uzhgorod
- №4/3 Zaporizhia — Uzhgorod
It is noted that the dishes are prepared and frozen in an innovative way, which ensures the freshness of the products and allows preserving the taste after heating. The menu was developed by Ukrainian chef Evgeniy Klopotenko.
The test menu will include:
- Carpathian potato pancakes; li> Crimean Tatar pilaf with beef.
Cost of dishes: from 170 to 190 hryvnia.
- In 2018, Ukrzaliznytsia presented new meals on some night trains. At first, the food was “tested” on passengers of trains #81 Kyiv-Uzhgorod, #104 Kyiv-Mariupol, #7 Kyiv-Ivano-Frankivsk, #749 Kyiv-Ivano-Frankivsk, and then expanded to a larger number of trains.
< li>In addition to the lunchbox, passengers were offered to buy yogurt, syrniki, porridge, sandwiches, couscous, pasta Bolognese, mashed potatoes, cheesecake and brownie, as well as broth and mushroom soup.
