Rescuers continue to clear rubble.

The aftermath of the Russian attack on the center of Kyiv on New Year's Eve has been underway for the second day. The work did not stop at night, said the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko. Equipment is currently working in the Pechersk district. The fire has already been extinguished, the State Emergency Service reported.

“Right now, rubble is being cleared. 75 rescuers and 19 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service are involved in the work,” the rescuers said.

<li>Yesterday morning, the Russian army attacked Kyiv with drones. There was damage in the Pechersk and Svyatoshinsky districts. In the first, a residential building and the National Bank building were damaged. As a result of the Russian strike, two people were killed – the spouses of scientists Igor Zima and Olesya Sokur. Another seven Kiev residents were injured. At least three had to be hospitalized. In the Svyatoshinsky district, the enemy damaged tram tracks. The high-speed tram service was suspended, but repairmen quickly repaired the damaged sections. </li>
