According to Dmitry Brizhinsky, head of the Chernihiv city military administration, the outskirts of the regional center came under fire.
“A group missile strike was carried out in the vicinity of the city. Stay in shelters,” Bryzhinsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
Before this, the Ukrainian Air Force warned several times about the missile threat to Chernigov and the region.
Later, the head of the MVA said that two private houses were preliminarily destroyed and four people were known to have been wounded.
Update. The head of the Chernihiv OVA Vyacheslav Chaus reported that as a result of a triple missile strike on a residential area on the outskirts of Chernihiv, one person was killed. Others were injured. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
