The concept of the new medical unit was presented at a meeting with Commander-in-Chief Syrsky, and he supported it.
Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky supported the concept of the first separate medical unit in the Ukrainian army.
This was reported by the Medical Service of the International Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
For two and a half years, the medical service taught, conducted evacuations, and provided assistance at stabilization points in the Kharkov, Zaporizhzhya, and Donetsk regions.
“All doctors know how difficult this work is, how many external and internal obstacles stand in the way. We have always tried to understand the root of these problems and find ways to constructively solve them, calmly, sensibly, systematically. Throughout this time, we have shared our experience and solutions to existing problems publicly,” the statement said.
Military doctors said that they tried to improve the level of medical care not only within their unit, but also to create the prerequisites for each serviceman to receive proper medical care.
“Our goal was to create a separate medical unit that would allow us to organizationally scale up our experience and improve the provision of medical care in combat zones. congresses, conferences, in ministry offices, in communication with the high command and other military personnel. We presented our vision and concept of a separate medical unit at a meeting with the commander-in-chief.
- Last October, it was reported that the stabilization medical points of units located in combat zones would be reinforced with professional medical personnel. The General Staff also emphasized that military doctors are not being “transferred to the infantry” – they will continue to work in their immediate specialty.
