Kislytsia in the UN Council: Ukraine wants peace, but not “for whatever price”

Ukraine is subject to Russian large-scale military aggression and establishing a just world. The request to simply “freeze” the war, ignoring the principles of the Statute of the United Nations Organization (UN), will deprive the aggressor country of further expansion.

As stated by the permanent representative of Ukraine at the UN, Sergey Kislitsa at a meeting for the sake of UN Security, RBC-Ukraine reports on the messages to the Ukrainian representation in the Organization.

“Ukraine, like no one else, like the world, but we do not accept the concept of “peace” for be-yaku price, “the fragments of the wines burned without bringing real and satisfying peace to the world,” is the statement of the Ukrainian diplomat at the meeting of the UN Security Council on the 16th of today, the topic of which was “Nurturing the world and the security of Ukraine.”

Kislitsa added that it is more likely to “encourage the aggressor to continue to violate international law, and not just in Ukraine.”

He respected that the geopolitical ambitions of the Russian Federation go far beyond the boundaries Ukraine.

“For those who may have forgotten the ultimatums that Russia saw before the invasion, I will remind them of their main message: “NATO may return to its cordons of 1997,” said the permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN.< /p>

Kislitsa added, what about this varto Remembrance, zokrema, to the people of these powers who reached the Mid-Atlantic Alliance after the stated date.

The diplomat said that we want to live in a safe world, the international community is not to be disturbed in order to resist the aggressive imperialist policy of the Russian Federation.

“The implementation of the concept of “peace through strength” as a single effective tool to defeat the aggressor and ensure a universal, just and fair world is consistent with the principles of the UN Statute,” emphasized Kislytsia.

In the words of the Permanent Representative of Ukraine, the diplomatic way to such peace lies through implementation “Formula for Peace”, inspired by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“We are also ready to consider the peaceful ideas of other powers, such as the need to renew the territorial integrity of Ukraine, not equate the victim with the aggressor, and are based on the principle “nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine.” They can be discussed in formats that “Formula to the World” is promoting,” said Kislytsia.
