Some of these boards are also used for the guidance systems of kamikaze drones, Tornado-G multiple launch rocket systems, and the on-board navigation of the Ka-52 attack and reconnaissance helicopter.
According to the case materials, the defendants developed a plan for the systematic supply of electronic components from Ukraine to Russia in circumvention of sanctions.
“To successfully implement the plan, they, replacing the end consumer of the products, bought products on the territory of Ukraine and other countries, sent them to a controlled company in the Middle East, which is under international sanctions, and from there to a Russian company, which is also under Western sanctions,” the report says.
Among the end consumers of the goods are strategic state enterprises of the Russian Federation and enterprises operating in the structure of the military-industrial complex of the aggressor country, in particular, JSC SpetsTekhMash.
In the summer of 2022 alone, the participants in the scheme shipped more than 1,500 types of microelectronics to Russia for a total of more than 600 thousand dollars. USA.

At present, the SBU has detained one of the defendants, who was also found to have a Russian passport. The special service investigators informed him of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding an aggressor state committed by an organized group).
