Ukrainian military debunked a new fake of Russian propaganda.

The military said that the Russians recently spread a fake about the alleged capture of a settlement by the occupiers.

“As “proof”, the occupiers published a video allegedly recorded in the area of responsibility of the Third Assault Brigade. We report that this statement and all the news about the capture of the village is another fake of Russian propaganda for the sake of the illusion of success of the Russian Federation on the borders of our brigade. And in the video itself, filmed by the occupiers, is the village of Kovalevka, destroyed by them,” the 3rd Assault Brigade stated and published a video with the red-handed.
The soldiers emphasized that the commander of the 20th Guards Army of the Russian Federation, who “captured Novogorovka only on paper, is actively erasing his units from the defense of the Third Assault Brigade.”
- On January 29, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russians attacked the positions of Ukrainian units in the Liman direction, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Novoegorovka, Kopanki, Makeyevka, Novolyubovka, Torskoye, Yampolevka and Zelenaya Dolina.
