In the near future, the Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada will register a bill with amendments regarding the VLK for persons with limited fitness.
This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.
She noted that the bill talks about two important things:
- the deadline for mandatory medical examination will be extended by another four months, meaning the deadline will be moved to early June 2025.
- the obligation to undergo medical examination does not apply to people under 25 years of age with limited fitness.
