The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that 97 battles took place on the front over the past 24 hours.

39 of them were in the Pokrovsk direction, 18 – in the Kupyansk direction.

The General Staff also reports that over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost another 1,300 occupiers and 12 enemy tanks, 18 combat armored vehicles, 51 artillery systems, 1 MLRS and 3 air defense systems. Since the beginning of the invasion, the losses of Russian troops amounted to about 841,660 people.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky commented on the attacks on servicemen, calling these cases shameful.

He also recalled that mobilization is a necessity during war. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are doing everything to prevent human rights violations during mobilization measures. As a result of missile and drone attacks on generation facilities and damage to the transmission system networks by the enemy, emergency shutdowns were applied in the morning in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Poltava, Zaporizhia, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk (partially), Cherkasy (partially) and Kyiv (partially) regions.

In addition, as of 8:30 a.m., the level of electricity consumption was 3.3% higher than on the previous working day, that is, Friday, January 31. The reason for the drop in air temperature in most regions.

Today, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., there is a need for very economical electricity consumption, so citizens are urged to avoid using powerful electrical appliances during this period if possible.

Locals in Volgograd counted at least 50 explosions overnight. Air defense was reported, and a fire broke out at the plant again. The city partially lost power.

According to locals, three plant installations and a gas pipeline were hit in Astrakhan. A fire is raging at the site. According to an eyewitness, a Gazprom facility was attacked.
