The 97th Academy Awards ceremony will traditionally be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on the night of March 3, 2025.
When will the 2025 Oscars start, Kyiv time?
The live broadcast of the ceremony in the US starts at 7:00 PM local time. Kyiv time, viewers will be able to see the pre-show and the red carpet at midnight, at 1:30 AM. The main part of the ceremony will start at 2:00 AM, so the night promises to be long and exciting for anyone who plans to stay up late.
Where to watch the 2025 Academy Awards
The traditional broadcaster of the ceremony in the US will be ABC. However, this year there is also good news for users of streaming services – for the first time, the Oscars will be available to watch on Hulu.
In Ukraine, a live broadcast with translation will be available on the TV channel “Public Culture”. The host from Ukraine was the famous director and actor Akhtem Seitablayev, which adds even more intrigue and interest to the event for the domestic audience.

Last year, the whole country rejoiced at the victory of the team of Mstyslav Chernov, whose film “20 Days in Mariupol” became the first in the history of Ukraine to win the statuette in the category “Best Documentary”. This year, Ukrainians also have reason for optimism: the film “Porcelain War” was nominated in the category “Best Feature Documentary”. This film is the result of cooperation between Ukrainian director Slava Leontiev and American cinematographer Brendan Bellomo.
