The SBU and the National Police were tracking down a Russian agent who was preparing a terrorist attack in Ukraine. The special operation in Odessa ended with the acquisition of components for the production of a self-propelled vibration device.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine in a message to the Security Service of Ukraine.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the National Police have intercepted a new attempt by the Russian Federation to carry out a terrorist attack on the territory of Ukraine.
The legacy of the special operation in Odessa was traced to a Russian agent who, in agreement with the FSB, was preparing to operate a self-propelled vibukh device (SVP) in the unknown region of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the terrorist was revealed to be a 20-year-old drug addict from the Odessa region, who was recruited by the Russian special services through the Telegram channel, which sells “easy” pennies.

Under the supervision of the FSB, the agent added components for the preparation of SVP and planned to disguise it as a flammable agent.
Details of the special operation
According to the instructions, it is difficult to remove the vibration behind the song address, after which the Russian curators planned to activate it through a telephone call.
Before the terrorist attack was stopped, the Russian curator entrusted the agent of the Vikonati “test” plant with the task of setting fire to the batteries and relays in the strategic route of the Odessa region.
SBU and National Police operatives immediately identified the perpetrator, documented his criminal activity and began an ongoing effort to obtain verbal evidence.
After an hour of drying, warehouses were obtained for the production of SVP, including chemical components and an extinguishing agent from a mobile phone.

What is the threat?
The Security Service of Ukraine informed the suspect about the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 15, part 2 art. 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (an attempt at sabotage in the minds of the military camp).
In addition, it is planned to further qualify this crime under Part 1 of Art. 14, part 2 art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (preparation for terrorist acts).
The criminal is under attack, and he is threatened with further punishment for the confiscation of the lane. The special operation was carried out by the SBU intelligence officers in the Odessa region together with the National Police under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor's office.
We guess that an agent of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) was caught in Odessa, preparing caches for terrorist attacks. After returning to the site, the health center was planning to deposit parts of the self-propelled vibration device at the site of the port infrastructure.
However, at this stage the SBU counterintelligence officers intervened, seizing part of the Vibukh device.
