In his column for The Guardian, he wrote that “the fire in Ukraine cannot be reached except through diplomatic gestures.” A political and financial pressure on Russia is still needed.
“First of all, Ukraine needs to provide security guarantees in order to ensure the future of the fire. As the US Department of State officially stated, the start of travel will start at 12:00 after the local hour (11:00 outside Kiev).
At 10:51, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced that “a meeting of the Ukrainian and American delegations is beginning in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.”
“The key topics of the meeting will be the way to the world and the bilateral relations of Ukraine and the United States,” stated the Ministry of Health.
The agency published a video of the Ukrainian delegation, which was accompanied by representatives of Saudi Arabia, a country that hosts Ukraine and the United States on high terms.

It was previously reported that the US Presidential Special Envoy for the Close Convergence, Stiv Vitkoff, was sharing a similar fate. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine immediately named its participants, and then published a post that saw its name. The State Duma also did not mention this in the official statement.
