On the 20th of February, around 13:40, on Kievsky Street near Rivny, a vibrator began to vibrate near one of the shopping centers.
The National Police of Ukraine reported this.
According to previous data, the self-propelled vibuchal device, which was transported in Peugeot cars, swelled.
Both the driver and the passenger of the transport suffered a blow and were hospitalized.
The work was carried out by vibration technicians, the investigative team of the National Police and the Security Service. The area was cleared for the presence of other dangerous items.
The SBU initiated pre-trial investigation of two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Art. 258 (terrorist act),
- Art. 263 (illegal occupation of weapons, military supplies or vibukhov rivers).
The regional department of the SBU stated that it classifies the explosion near the center of Rivne as a terrorist attack and has already confirmed a type of criminal activity.
Suspilne informed that there was a taxi car. Two people were injured. One of them is in the critical stage, the other is in the important stable stage.
