A collaborator from Izyum, who worked for the Russians, was sentenced to 12 years in prison < 12 years in prison was given to a collaborator who, after the occupation of Izyum, voluntarily joined occupation

This is reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

The traitor first became a “precinct officer” and later became a “road patrol inspector” of the Russian pseudo-institution. He received Russian-style uniforms, weapons and “identification” and helped the invaders fabricate “cases” against members of the resistance movement in the region.

To do this, the collaborator handed over the residential addresses of Ukrainian patriots to the Russian occupiers who remained in the city, also traveled around the territory of the community and monitored compliance with the occupation administration's ban on holding mass gatherings.

During such raids, Russians in the middle of the street imprisoned participants in pro-Ukrainian actions and took them to Russian dungeons.

< After Izyum's dismissal, the collaborator tried to " lay low" to avoid punishment. However, he was exposed during stabilization measures. When they searched him, they found and confiscated a “certificate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation” and other evidence of illegal activities.

The henchman of the occupiers cooperated with the investigation. The court found him guilty under Part 7 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration activities) and sentenced him to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
