Over the last week (from February 23 to March 1, 2024) the following were examined and cleaned:
- 7 686.75 hectares of terrain;
- 7,622.25 hectares of farmland;
- 19.45 km of roads;
- 0.3 km of pipelines.
As noted in the message, the work is carried out using special equipment for mechanized demining.
“During a week of work, 4,599 explosive remnants were seized and neutralized. In total, sappers of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine units discovered and destroyed 304,507 explosive remnants of war,” they added . to the Ministry of Defense.
- Artificial intelligence will help in humanitarian demining of the territory of Ukraine.
