Poland scrambled F-16 aircraft during a Russian missile attack on Ukraine

On the morning of February 7, one of the Russian missiles was moving towards the border with Poland, but 20 km from the border it changed course and turned towards Lvov.

The operational command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that Polish and American F-16 fighters were scrambled in connection with the missile attack Russian territory of Ukraine.

“We inform you that there is intense activity by long-range aviation of the Russian Federation associated with missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine. All necessary procedures have been initiated to ensure the safety of Polish airspace, the Operational Command is constantly monitoring the situation,” the department said.

Note that on the morning of February 7, according to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, one of the Russian missiles was moving towards the border with Poland, but at a distance of 20 km from the border it changed course and turned towards Lvov.

This morning, February 7, Russia launched a massive missile strike on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, explosions were heard in Kyiv, Kharkov, Nikolaev and Lvov regions.
