Ukraine has similar air defense systems to protect its borders.
Rescuers are working to clear up the areas located in the border zone from the Russian Federation , are the most vulnerable to enemy attacks. This applies to seven regions: Kharkov, Odessa, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Chernihiv, Sumy and Dnepropetrovsk.
The speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ilya Yevlash spoke about this during the telethon, writes RBC-Ukraine.
“Those who are in close proximity to Russia and the temporarily occupied territories suffer the most. First of all, these are the Kharkov, Odessa, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions,” he noted.
To to resist Russian shelling, Ukraine needs air defense systems.
“We really count on help, including from our American partners,” added Yevlash.
- During the day under artillery fire there were more than 120 settlements in Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions.
