The Swedish government has instructed the country's armed forces to redirect 28 million euros to support defense and Ukraine.

So, 18 million euros will be transferred to three coalitions within the framework of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine, and 10 million euros – to NATO Fund for Ukraine.
“We will continue to support Ukraine and generate benefits that will not be necessary. Swedish support will be gradually transferred until the purchase of new equipment from the industry for transfer to Ukraine. These payments to funds can be increased defense of Ukraine in terms of drones, dismantling and strengthening the capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy,” said Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson.
So, Sweden sees:
- 5 million euros for the cost of the coalition from the transfer, which will be directly allocated to the purchases and training of Ukrainian personnel.
- 3 million euros for the maritime security coalition ki, which advances the potential of Ukraine in the galuz of safe sea transportation in the Black Sea, and It also expands the capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy in maritime surveillance, amphibious warfare, sea control and countering Russian military ships.
